Originally released in 1980, Sinsemilla was produced by the acclaimed duo Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare and marked a key moment in Black Uhuru’s rise to international recognition. Featuring the classic lineup of Michael Rose, Puma Jones, and Duckie Simpson, the album blends heavyweight roots reggae rhythms with rich vocal harmonies and socially conscious themes.
