 The three titles are released as limited-edition 180g LPs, presented in full-colour gatefolds and including sleeve notes. For the first time in the series, these titles have been mastered by Sidney Claire Meyer at Emil Berliner Studios (EBS), the team behind DG’s ‘Original Source’ and Decca’s ‘Pure Analogue’ collections.

Stephen Hough’s four Rachmaninov piano concertos have long been viewed as reference recordings of this iconic repertoire, the standard by which others must be judged. Hough made a conscious return to the fast and lean performance tradition of the composer himself, avoiding the sentimental ‘Hollywood’ approach that had become so prevalent, for this triumphantly successful, awards-lavished Rachmaninov cycle.
