Gemeinsam mit Bassist Tommy Potter und Schlagzeuger Roy Haynes interpretiert er vorwiegend Balladen aus den 1930er-Jahren. Das Ergebnis ist ein zurückhaltendes, atmosphärisches Jazzalbum mit entspannter After-Hours-Stimmung, aufgenommen von Rudy Van Gelder.
