Your order will be sent out as soon as all items are on stock. Items marked as “Available for immediate delivery” usually will be sent out within 24 hours. Products not included need to be re-ordered.

With „After Midnight: The Complete Sessions,” one of Nat King Cole’s great jazz albums receives its definitive presentation as a 2-LP edition in the BLUE NOTE TONE POET SERIES – expanded with six additional recordings from the legendary 1956 sessions. Cole is at the height of his artistry here, both as an unmistakable vocalist and an outstanding jazz pianist. Together with his trio and guests including Harry “Sweets” Edison, Willie Smith, Stuff Smith, and Juan Tizol, he blends elegant swing, intimate vocals, and the relaxed atmosphere of a late-night jam session. The Penguin Guide to Jazz includes the album in its recommended “Core Collection.” In addition to the series’ renowned premium features, this edition includes a booklet with rare archival photographs and an essay by Cole expert Will Friedwald.

BLUE NOTE TONE POET SERIES: Mono, produced by Joe Harley, mastered fully analog by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes, pressed at RTI on 2 x 180g vinyl, housed in a deluxe tip-on gatefold jacket with a padded inner sleeves.
