Víkingur Ólafsson continues his acclaimed exploration of J.S. Bach with CONTINUUM II, the second instalment in his ongoing Bach project. Bringing together original keyboard works, transcriptions and Ólafsson’s own new arrangements, the album reveals an intimate and reflective side of Bach’s music. CONTINUUM II is also the first album to have been recorded entirely at Ólafsson’s new home studio in Iceland, The Nutshell.

Following the success of his previous Bach recordings, the album deepens Víkingur Ólafsson’s lifelong musical conversation with the composer, combining familiar masterpieces with less widely known works and fresh interpretations.
