4CD Earbook

Die YELL4O YEARS-Retrospektive erscheint als limitiertes und nummeriertes 4CD Earbook. Das 60-seitige, aufwändig und liebevoll gestaltete Buch enthält exklusive und brandneue Liner-Notes zu jedem veröffentlichten YELLO-Album, inkl. zahlreicher rarer und zum Teil niemals zuvor gesehener Fotos und visueller Einblicke in die illustre Karriere der Schweizer Electronic-Pioniere. 

Die ersten beiden CDs bilden eine klassische Best Of mit 41 Songs, die natürlich Hits und Evergreens wie „Oh Yeah“, „Bostich“, „The Race (live)“ und „Vicious Games“ ebenso enthält wie ewige Fan-Favoriten à la „I Love You“, „Goldrush“ oder „Rubberbandman“. Auf CD 3 wird wiederum die melodischere, cineastischere Seite YELLOs Revue passieren gelassen — MELLO YELLO, quasi. „The Rhythm Divine (feat. Shirley Bassey)“ und „Desire“ sind Seite an Seite mit eher unbekannteren Perlen („Solar Driftwood“, „Capri Calling“ oder „Otto di Catania“) inkludiert. Für die vierte CD wurden die von YELLO präferierten Remixe aus 40 Jahren Band-Historie zusammengetragen und mit bislang unveröffentlichten Remixen, wie z.B. Mark Reeders (Factory Records) „Wet & Hard Mix“ von „Vicious Games“, versehen.
